This week I chose to shoot 50 black and white photos for my assignment of choice because I was becoming un focused, but when I did something new and different, I instead had a good time. These are my best ten photos. This is my favorite photo because everything around it was dying and the yellow of the didn't add to the photo. It just made the rest of the photo look depressing. Other than changing the photo to black and white, I did no other editing.

During this project, we retouched a car at a showing. During this project, we used new toos like the clone stamp, quick selection, text, and more. After learning these new techniques, I can now apply the to my own photography and make my photos even better.
This week I decided to take pictures of animals. I have two cats and I decided to give them some attention. I took some pictures while playing wit my cats. One was way more into it then the other. She just wanted to lay down and take a nap. During this assignment, I learned that b the time you get your camera ready, your subject is no longer interested and the photo is gone. This is my favorite photo of the week because she is focusing on the sweatshirt string, and has grabbed it with her paw, which adds some back story. I edited this photo to be brighter by adding a little exposure and a little contrast, brightening the blacks and shadows, and darkening the highlights.
As an introduction to Adobe Photoshop, we took a photo of someone, and put different colored filters on it, and combined it into one image. In this assignment, we learned a few new tricks, an I can't wait to learn more.
For this assignment, I chose Nature to be the subject of my pictures. To get these photos, I went on a nature walk for inspiration and photo chances. I took a total of 70 phots, and I have picked my ten best to display. This is my best photo from this week. I took this photo in my backyard in the morning, and was focusing on the water droplets resting on the leaf. After taking this picture, I only edited the exposure to make the leaf and water droplets pop more.
In digital photography, I chose to work with NATURE and improve my photo techniques to get the most detail and color in my subject and photo as possible. I looked for inspiration of nature in pictures on the web and found a few photographers whose work has given me new ideas and interpretation of nature in photographs.

I shot multiple examples of each technique, and I am showing my best photo of each technique. During this project, I learned eleven new and professional ways to take photos of otherwise uninteresting everyday objects, but I also learned to better work and adjust my camera, and how to create my own blog. I also learned that your first photo might not always be the best but the more photos you shoot, the better quality your final image is.
Hello, I'm Jamie and I would like to welcome you to my digital photography blog. I am taking Digital Photography because I would like to learn how to take better photos, and I want to get my Art Credit to graduate. I am a competitive runner, and I run 5 or 6 days a week. I am running on the Saline Cross Country Team and the Saline Track and Field Team for the first time as a Freshmen, and I would like to run all four years of high school.
